Friday afternoons in September

Our staff meeting marathon is over, and now comes the clean-up. I have to scan through the notes to remember what I promised to do.

Of course, after the morning's meeting, I spent most of the afternoon dealing with Pax Christi stuff ... there was a conference call about next week's anti war mobilization, then I had to talk with Dave about a lot of little details he's dealing with, then I had to email Tom about the civil diso scenario, and email with Shannon about her staying with us, and talk with Mike about the Katrina statement and next weekend's situation, and email Rosemarie some directions via metro to the rally, and talk with Gerri about possibly inheriting the Network News job.

Geoff Thale needed to go over the schedule for the delegation to El Salvador, so at least that was some Maryknoll work.

My desk is covered in papers and coffee cups.

Will I ever go to the gym again?
